Performance Racing, originally founded in Sweden, was initially (1999) created part of a business-to-business marketing and branding campaign for an international software company to concentrate their various motor sport activities into one source. The original plan was based on a 3 year sponsorship deal targeted to establish the team as a top player in a single seater formula recognized as a formula one feeder. Unfortunately due to the IT crisis the project was abandoned already after it's first year. The team was then bought out by Bobby Issazadhe who have operated it since.

In 1999 and 2000 we where running cars in the "Europa Cup" for Formula Opel and in Formula 3, racing in continental Europe, UK and Sweden. The British Formula 3 series was our main activity between 2001 and 2007. In 2008 we joined the German Formula 3. Performance Racing is also active in A1GP, The World Cup of Motorsport and has successfully operating cars for several nations since 2006.

In 2009 we signed a contract with Volkswagen Motorsport to use their engines in the German F3 series. It was another successful year in Formula 3 for the team where we finished the season in 4th place. Unfortunately 2009 saw the end of A1GP where we had been a service provider for the last four seasons. Great shame since A1GP was one of the best international single seater series ever.
